Tonight I made Chilli from scratch. They had one thing of ground beef left at the store, it was more then a pound, had I thought about it, I probably would would have cooked up half of it and saved the other half for tacos or something, but instead, I cooked it all up. Now I have a HUGH pot of Chilli. I ran out of Chilli powder too, oh well, I used some other things in place of that. Now We are going to have Chilli for days, I might freeze some of it. I swear it's enough to feed five or more people, and it's just the two of us! Maybe I'll take some over to the bar for the girls, they'll eat it.

I like to put cheddar cheese and sour cream on mine, how do you eat yours?

Pizza Crust; Chili and Cheddar pizza; if you are making the dough or use fresh dough, cook it first until it gets a bit more bread-y, otherwise the crust will never cook properly.
 
Mediterranean Chicken

I didn't make a video, and I will post opinions later...but I just wanted to say that cooking in a kitchen, in the summer, in a house that lacks central heat and air....sucks donkey dick. This meal should only take 30 minutes, it took me about an hour because I keep walking away because it is so fucking HOT. I am literally dripping with sweat. I am going to have to remember to take a fan out there with me next time because it gets so ridiculously hot. When I am cooking a good meal, the payoff is worth it....but the process....oh my gosh...yuck. I feel like a total pig right now. That is my complaint for the day...will post pictures and reviews either later tonight or tomorrow.
 
That Mediterranean Chicken was delicious, super rich, flavorful, and very filling. Highly recommended. 10 out of 10 camicook stars.

On the menu this week:

Steak w/ pesto sauce and cherry tomatoes

Grilled chicken w/ Cheat's Mushroom Risotto.

Pork Medallions w/ onion, apple, and hard cider over wild rice w/grilled squash

Pasta w/ Oozing tomato sauce w/spinach and Olives

Stuffed Shells and stuffed baked Zucchini.

There's a bunch of other meals too, but they are just your normal, easy to make dinners.
I will try to remember to post pictures and recipes as I make them.
 
BBQ Leg of Lamb; Fresh Ontario Leg of Lamb.. $7.99/lb

Fresh Oregano/Garlic Scapes/Olive Oil/White Wine/Lemon/Salt & Pepper rub. (combined in food processor)

Marinate for a few hours then off to the charcoal grill.
