Random thoughts

Lookit - 6 capybaras!

Girl at the Western Union outlet just sez to me, "Did anyone ever tell you, you look like Hugh Hefner?"

"Um no. A little younger I hope."

"Oh yeah. There is a picture of him [couldn't make out what she said] and your driver's license pic looks just like it."

You know what? I don't mind that at all.

I don't think any thoughts got erased. My capybaras are intact for the most part. Looks like one is missing from the Hef comparison post, however I don't think that was due to database errors. I think it was just one of those links that goes away for whatever reason.

I am never glad to be down a capybara but all things considered, the Random thoughts thread came through okay.

I wonder if I could tickle that baby to death.....

tickling is torture after a certain point you know..... I tell my girl this all the time, as I have alot of super tickilish spots. and once she gets her hands there, I become as strong as a 5 year old girl. i'm rendered helpless.

If I suddenly disappear from the forums someday, you can be pretty sure I got tickled to death by bigal. hopefully, there will at least be a friday night dateline nbc show about it

Sometimes I see things that seem like just plain bad judgment. Not disastrous but just poor thinking.

There is a common acronym which is FAQ. It stands for frequently asked questions. It is a good acronym because the three words very clearly say what it means - there are no awkward words thrown in there to make it work - and it has the added bonus of actually making a little word - FAQ's - which sounds like facts - which is another accurate description of what it is.

FAQ's - very good acronym. Everything came together just right for that acronym.

I was just looking for some information on a product - and I figured it would fall under the heading of Frequently Asked Questions - but when I went on the website, it had Commonly Asked Questions.

CAQ's.

I can't believe no one at the company has heard of the acronym FAQ's. They must have made the judgment to try something a little different.

Bad call.
