Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire wrapped up on Sunday. There was a lot of complaining throughout the season on the imdb discussion board. I haven't glanced over there since the last episode but I'm sure it has only gotten more intense. Some shit happened and things changed and people freak out about change.

It was an interesting season for me. It started off very sublime. It was like Mad Men. The episodes just washed over me. The realism is incredible and the acting is good and there are no contrivances so I can just get completely wrapped up in that world. I didn't know where it was going - it was following about 11 different plotlines - but I was enjoying it and ready to see where it would flow.

Then there were a couple of really weird decisions in the penultimate episode. I still don't know if one is even remotely plausible - but maybe. Anyone that episode had me rattled all week.

Really enjoyed the finale though and definitely look forward to season 5.

Very fine show IMO.

Looking forward to that Muddy we'll do it tonight. They really do a great job across the board on Boardwalk.

We watched
the other night. It won't blow your mind but it's a good little movie. Dorff really delivers a moving performance from beginning to end. Not a bad way to pass a little time. 6.8 bits.

that looks amazing

I watched the first episode of House of Cards. It was easily good enough that I will continue. I would bet that I will watch the whole season.

That was from download. Earlier this week I watched the first episode of the new HBO series Getting On. That is much more of a hanging-by-a-thread situation. I will try another episode but sharp money is on ---> Mudcat will not last the season.

Then there was another new series called Ja'mie: Private School Girl. I lasted about 5 minutes with it. It is that dopey Australian guy playing a girl again. I've seen him somewhere before doing weak characters and it was equally unwatchable.

Don't know who thinks that shit is funny.

Muddy the finale of Boardwalk was so damn good though I will very much miss *nospoiler*

Tried a couple of minutes of Getting On, didn't work out. No on Australian dudes dressing up as girls.

Cami and I are not really Kutcher fans, pretty indifferent, but this was actually very good. 7.5 sizzleans for Jobs

Cali watch that movie.

we also watched Bad Grandpa. Less funny than the Knoxville crap we're used to but enough ridiculous moments to chuckle when thinking of it. 5.5 bits.

I thought it looked hilarious by the trailer too, I was sorely disappointed. There weren't that many funny moments, it was more of a actually movie with a story line....idk...I wasn't that impressed, I thought with it being J.K. It would be as funny as the Jackass movies...not even close.
