IAG, I bailed us out after plommer and kato tried to BURY this thread.


Let's do this (just a suggestion):

Let's run our bankroll up high enough that kato, plommer, nina, reno, tron and iag all get a $100 payday.

Then we can say that a bunch of coin flippers turned a little something into something bigger and all walk away a winner.

Reno will hate this idea.

Sounds good to me. I'll figure out where we are tomorrow and we'll go from there. I think probably close to $250?.

actually I didn't get that chance before 3 bets were placed. I wasn't on. But my point was, that before any chances were made to the format we were using, shouldn't the group have discussed it? That's all. And poor IAG trying to keep it all together. I would have broken out the voodoo dolls and pins. *insert evil grin here*

For one round. Which we did. This was never designed as a "lotto" to win 50k. It was to have some fun and maybe have 5 people win a hundred bucks or more.

People can make their own plays with their own books to get rich. Seems like you are pinning all your hopes and dreams on this zone. I don't get it.

Bankroll down to $100 something. Hopefully Tron's play hits.

I'm ready for your all-in play once that game is done.

I don't know where you get this stupidity. I thought you were being cute at 1st but I guess you believe it. Remember you wanted to double up to 600. We've yet to get there.
My suggestion of 25-50% was actually more conservative.
My reason for suggesting allowing multiple bets because, as I have stated I don't want to shy away people (plommer or kato) who might not be here on their day and happen to have a play that they like on a different day.

Finally I tried to explain to you why a most aggressive approach gives -expectation plays the best chance for success. I thought that is what you were asking. I was not necessarily suggesting it.

I'm not gonna have any picks until probably Thursday. I'm happy to let anybody else go next and bet whatever amount you all want.

also I understand you may not want to be placing bets indefinitely. (I wouldn't want to) So that's another issue which is entirely up to you.
I'm happy to put up some money if at least a few others want to too, to have some sort of GL bankroll going constantly. If somebody has a good book and is willing to place bets. Perhaps it will help them meet some rollover :dunno:

And I don't know how you got in the good guy zone. What stupidity would that be exactly?

ONCE AGAIN, and for for the umpteenth time. The main goal was have every player on the team make a play...one...to get thru one rotation. . During this time it is doubled. Had there not been a push, 5 player doubling =$800 (not accounting for vig) Usually the money is then split up. IT wasn't to be doubled indefinitely until you lose. It was intended to be FUN for some FUN money. It was not intended to provide a forum for everyone to win $10,000. This is no longer fun.



No play til "at least" Thursday after all that?

Bacon...if I ever start another zone, I promise you will be first or second in...assuming you are not in a manic state... Remind me if I forget.


And Reno, I understand you weren't suggesting doubling each time. My point was that mine wasn't either after the actual "zone" ...your strategy is not "more conservative" than mine. I think %25 per play is just fine...not just with multiple plays going. I think I had bet %25 when Plommer came in and bitched that I didn't bet to win the %25 amount, but bet it as risk..

Like Nina said, she would have been unable to get out even if she wanted to when there were 3 rapid fire plays going simultaneously, for which you seemed to be advocating..

I don't want to argue with you any more. %25 per play...One at a time..preferably one or two a day...

No. It was aimed at Steve. And mostly it is there now because I needed to take the good guy avatar down...and that was the only thing I had on my new computer other than a bunch of dead deer pictures.

You can't sue me. Well you could try, but it would be frivolous. EMT.
