The whole area is freaked out bout this game! Can't remember a more tense day or so in Phils history! Guess when your a big fav losing is not an option So many more disappointments than successes when it comes down to championships in this city people take the half empty glass approach!

Not much confidence in batters getting it done! Can't expect Halladay to pitch great every game! People want and expect Roy to pitch a shutout tonight! Unreal! Hoping Roy gives up no more than 2-3 runs and then IMO guys 1-8 will be the blame if the Phils don't win tonight!

Little karma to myself with one of my fav moments in Phillies history! Can't say Jimmy or Utley hasn't stepped it up during the playoffs!

RJ, son, be there for the Phillies tonight!

MrMonkey, I need your friggin team to win this game. I had a couple hundred in my Geek account and am trying to close it out. I would rather cash out than merely close out though.

MrM, root these slugs in will ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's do a comparison of the Braves payroll and the Marlins payroll from 1993-2011 (I realize this discussion will go nowhere)

Don't know about an 8 year period. Let's stick to the season in question. You'll be happy to know that the Braves outspent the Marlins in 1997...by about a half mil. Marlins were 5th; Braves were 4th.

Right because it was the only baseball game in the history of MLB that had a questionable strike zone.

:crying:

Yeah. Just another game with a bad strike zone. Nothing outstanding about it at all.
