thats the way baseball is.... there are about 10 teams out there that can get away with carrying 2-3 stupid bad contracts for multiple years, and they can still win.

the bottom 3rd of the league, makes 1 stupid contract or a few semi-stupid contracts... they are buried for a decade...

I don't fault teams that make alot of $ and have owners with deep pockets one bit.... I mean Why Not just spend spend spend?
