FW - who do you consider clutch in baseball (batters only)? List of 5-10 current clutch players? No wrong answers unless you include Adam Dunn in your list. I'll run some numbers, hopefully tomorrow, to try and figure out (simplistically) what "clutch" actually is.

It's cool RJ! Just sub the 2011 with 2012 and I will in the near future discuss the things they must do to make the thread a success!

Betting the bases has made me fall in love with baseball again! Miss the everyday action we have! Now I lose on Sunday and have to wait a week to have a go at it again!

Can't wait for College B-Ball!!!

Nice start for your boys Archie!

Very disappointing loss for Phillies! Charlie over managed the team to a loss today! Pierre having nice day and Thome looking good at 1B! So up 4-1 bottom of 7th and take out both guys and put in Mayberry and switch Wigginton to 1B and put in Polanco at 3B as defensive replacements!

Too early to do the above IMO! What happens! Wigginton drops easy 3rd strike dropped ball throw to him and 2 runs score that inning! Game gets tied and now you lost Mayberry and Polanco as potential PHs in 8th or 9th! Plus now Pierre and Thome won't see another AB!

Was so in love with the Phils versatile bench this year but will Charlie know how to use it? Charlie's 2012 record: 0-1!
 
OK let's start the home year right today! Strong wind out my back window right now! Forecast calls for wind blowing out hard (20 to 20+ MPH) directly to right field foul pole!

Advantage then say the Phils ......... but wait ...... who hits the HRs? Rollins? Victorino? No Thome in lineup today! IMO Marlins have more bats capable of taking Hamels yard over RF wall! We shall see!
