While being correct about the top of the triangle its not really pertinent to this thread. This thread was introduced as a way to poke fun of those here who take mathematical approach to whats going on in this country at a common man level while using certain segments of the population as variables.

As in FBI crime stat numbers??

They can be spun to include another segment of people but it doesn't change the fact that 15% of this country commit half the murder....You are a smart guy Matty..If 15% of a group commit 50% of murder and 85% commit 50%...how many more times more likely is an African American more likely to commit murder then anyone else in this country. We won't even plug in the fact that so many murders in "urban" are unsolved and that AA's wound more often then kill because of shitty aim.

A real good benchmark to use in my eyes are the Latino's. While still being perpetually violent their successes can't be ignored. While basicly in their second generation here in America and while overcoming a huge, huge obstacle in that they came without even speaking the language they have taken low level jobs and become business owners and branched to other areas. Firm grip in many areas of construction, all based on nothing more then hard work and strong family values. They now routinely score better then African Americans in just about all standardized testing including English even though AA's have a 350 year jump on them. Another impressive feat is that they have passed AA's in spending power in their short time here as well. Seems almost impossible what they have accomplished in a short time given their hurdles.
 
Keep in mind that most of the people in the states today were not even here at the time of African slavery. Most migrated here in the early 1900's. I am Irish and Canadian matty..but the heavy burden is still cast upon me and all the ,Poles, Germans,Italians,etc. A fragment of ththe population today have ties to slavery
