Pally, come to Denver and you can go on a date with Erika. She told me about her last two dates tonight, the bar is very low right now. Pally, she is a mid leaning Republican pharmacist that plays roller derby. Not quite a hipster, so you might have to change your girl getting tactics. She drives a Lexus SUV and likes country music and that other guy that sounds like Dave Matthews but isn't Dave Matthews.

This all sounded good before the country music and John Mayer (I assume that's who you are referring to).

Wait, what does "mid-leaning" Republican mean?

That doesn't mean she does yoga to Glenn Beck does it?

Cause I'd have to pull out.

LOL!!! pavy's a fukin joke, he parades around sbr with these same type of posts, somehow his superior intellect allows him to decipher what's obvious to everyone else into some type of fictional story that he knew about all along, not to mention he never shuts the fuk up about how everyone is a ghost

Pavy is absolutely a conspiracy theorist....but in this particular case I also thought it was B. Landers bullshit right up until the very cracking of the old egg.

I forgot for a minute that Brock is all about ripping everyone off and gloating about it.

I pulled it straight from the net. However in most, let me repeat this for those who haven't had enough coffee yet this morning, MOST understandings between ethical and moral view points are related to legal issues.

As stated in the article I copied and pasted these are SUBTLE differences but for INTELLIGENT sorts like we have here should be clear enough to see the differences. Most of you here have far more formal education than I have ever had and it should be even easier for your higher educated brains to conceptualize these subtle yet very distinct differences. This is not to say that both morals and ethics do not go hand in hand in some instances either. If you sell someone a car and you neglect to tell them about that car being in an accident this is both morally and ethically wrong.

Morality is deeply rooted in religious beliefs where as ethics take on more of a legal interpretation. This is why so many have issues with both because if there is one thing I have learned on these forums is both religion and law are frowned upon.

I gave you the best distinction example between morals and ethics already when I siad I like porn which can be considered morally wrong but is not reflect upon my ethics.

Morality is not dependent on religion. And ethics are not dependent on laws.

She does go to young Republican meetings. This freaks me out a little. She's also a somewhat practicing Catholic. But she doesn't fit/act/speak the dogma of the part. Very confusing. We've had a few conversations and I think we're somewhat on the same page save for health care. Although she's a pharmacist, so maybe she's more in the know than I am. She could very well be holding back because she knows her audience.

I usually have a strong distrust of people that are heavily involved in religion or politics.

We're going to Hawaii again on the 27th where we will do death yoga every day, feed wild chickens and swim in the ocean. Then we're flying straight to Vegas for a rendezvous with Mr. X and thousands of rollergirls for Rollercon and baseball shenanigans.

You are a fukking joke and a homo on top of that. Hard to do. And your mother is a ghost and a whore. Happy now, cunt?

There is a pretty big distinction here, MrX. The error was made by a credit union employee, not a bank. Credit unions are by nature not-for-profit entities and most were not deeply involved in the subprime nightmare as they tend to serve the best interests of their shareholders (members).

CU are for profit but are totally different than banks, I am a member of a federal CU and my dad just semi- retired for the 2nd time from that CU as some kind of manager
It is true they are 100% better to deal with then banks, at least mine is.

once the teller shorted me $20, and I didnt catch it until later that day..
I just thought I had lost the money or dropped it walking out of the bank. But I called and asked if they might have shorted me and if it will turn up at the end of the day when the teller balances the drawer. She called later that day and admitted the mistake and deposited the $20 in my acct.
score 1 for the honest folks of the world.

Don't confuse not-for-profit with non-profit. They are two separate things.

So what is the reason I am not staying at your place for 8 days in a row?!?!?!

This is hot!

Mr X! Rollergirls Mr. X!!! You lucky bastard!

Set up that camera!

didnt know there was a difference
what would be the difference from a non- profit and a not for profit?
non profits cant make profits, and a not for profit makes profit without trying?

It's a cooperative corporation versus a charitable organization. They make profit and reinvest it in their infrastructure, offering the remaining profits to their members in the form of dividends, interest rate yields, etc. Non-profits are bound by certain reinvestment limitations and the means by which they can acquire capital.
