People are seriously pumpified about the Raptors trading for Serge Ibaka. They have been on a major slide dropping from the #2 seed in the east down to the 4/5 region.
But as soon as people heard about Ibaka, they were listing Raptors - in ink - back as the #2 seed - with a real shot at Cleveland.
It's good, it's goods. The actual #2 seed - Celtics - are hot as hell and might have something to say about things. Washington and Atlanta look pretty good and are probably not willing to just concede a playoff series against the Raps who, people round here are conveniently forgetting, have been historically bad in the playoffs - before finally breaking through to the Eastern conference final last year - by virtue of two barely-scraped-by series wins against low ranked teams.
And I believe Lebron James does still exist.
But it's good.
