I would like the Raps to win but no, that is a sincere prediction based on what I've observed of the Raptors' weak-ass shit.

I am simply placing the air bet I think is most likely to win. Well actually 5 air bets. Miami-Cleve-Cleve-Cleve-Cleve.

About the only thing you can say - by way of a bright side - is that sure, the Raptors have no chance against this Cleveland team for the next 3 years or 5 or whatever it is.

But there is no sense getting fixated on that and thinking omygawd we're not good enough and that, until you can beat them, you have to blow up the team and make radical changes and whatnot.

Because every other team in the east is in the exact same boat. No one is as good as them. Teams can blow themselves up all they want. No one has a Lebron so you're fucked. The NBA is not a league of playoff upsets.

Just gonna have to be the best you can be for now. Toronto was comfortably 2nd best this year so be as positive as you can. Make incremental improvements. Maybe you get lucky and Lebron is injured in the playoffs one year. Otherwise, build a good organization. Hope for the future. That's it. That's all you can do.

I was predicting a Cleveland sweep of the Tor/Miami winner before either of their previous series started.

The fact that Cleveland has won by 30 and 20 - with Lebron only playing 28 and 34 minutes - does not lead me to modify my expectations.

Lowry is a historically bad playoff performer. There are some stats I've heard tossed around that are really amazing, how bad he has been.

And here's the whacky thing: DeRozan is right down there in the bottom of the barrel too.

Maybe if I get some motivation, I'll look up the specific stuff but it's something like there are ~250 guys who have started x number of playoff games - and Lowry and Derozan are both in the bottom 5 for shooting percentage and, I dunno, some shit.

Bottom 5 playoff performers of all-time. Both of them.
