I'd like to point out that, while I did try to make it look good, my CD label was intended to be tongue in cheek. I didn't think that that was what Muddy was going for.

Yeah, no, I took your intention that way. The album does already have a name and, get right down to it, so do I and it is not Mudcat.

As far as tone, the album is moody. Very dark at some points in the early going.

Chompers with Jeopardy pen do not quite capture it.

Everything is a decision tho. Font. Font is a decision.

I look at a couple hundred fonts and come up with something I think looks respectable. I do the text on the cover and inner sleeve. Looks nice.

But then on further thought, does it make sense?

It looks good but it's got an old timey, rustic feel to it. Add the worn old shovel to it - even more old timey and rustic.

The subject matter isn't old timey and rustic.

Back to the drawing board with fonts.
