Somewhere, we were talking about how chocolate is now often measured with a percentage. Dark chocolate anyway. Like you go to certain stores and the shelves will have all kinds of numbers on the dark chocolate and I guess you hopefully know what your go-to range is and BOOM! - there's your chocolate.

Only point I am making here and now: 85% ---> I just had some of that and no, that's too intense of a chocolate.

I love that intense dark stuff. Muddy you eat like my country-bumpkin in-laws. Roast beef and mashed potatuhs all day erry day.

My ultimate favorite is dark chocolate covered almonds... I think the ones at the neighborhood bulk store are about 70% chocolate, which is about perfect for me.

Jenny gave me a selection of pretty good chocolate in appreciation of some stuff I did for her.


I found that the 85% was always lamenting on the inevitability of death. The 85% acts like people are sitting around after they die thinking what a bummer it is that they never got around to such-and-such, and that such-and-such never got said.


The 70% is more my thing.
