Black pepper is peppercorn, the tiny fruit of some plant. Not sure of the filiation with big-ass bell peppers and such.

I know about peppercorns but I became confused because my pepper shaker which lives eternally by my right hand has pictures of regular jalapeno-looking peppers on the label. Now there are some little peppercorn looking things on there too. There is a sack in behind - full of ground pepper I guess. And then there is a big red thing in a scoop. I don't know what that is supposed to represent. Then there are a couple of white things that look, more than anything, like peeled apple slices.

We put balsamic vinegar on top of blueberries, strawberries and sliced almonds.

It's delish.

I remember when I got these rechargable batteries it said they would hold a charge. I don't remember the exact wording but the spirit of it was you could charge them and stick them in a drawer and they would be good virtually forever.

In fact they won't hold a charge for 3 and a half minutes.

Forever? They need regular recharging and for its charge not to be emptied completely every time. Life span usually 100-300 charges. Nothing is for ever Muddy.

The new ones do hold a charge for several months.

Well. After these batteries that I charged a couple weeks ago are done recharging again - probably take a few hours - I'll use two of them for 12 seconds and take/post a pic of my pepper shaker.

So get ready for that.

BTW, semi-pro tip - Energizer can't make a rechargeable battery to save their life. The good NiMH batteries come from obscure names like Ansmann and GP. GP batteries are highly recommended - I still have some from 10 years ago that work like new. Easily found on eBay and Amazon.

Every once in awhile Woot will sell you a crap load of crappy batteries dirt cheap. They're awful batteries but you get a crap load of them for crap.

we go through batteries like there is no tomorrow. Steve has this special remote, it eats batteries up. mostly AA and AAA is used around here.

My guess is either Chili Powder/cayenne or Paprika; All of which are forms of dried Peppers

Is that just plane black pepper, or like a mixed seasoning?
