I look around as I approach the hospital grounds and I start thinking, "That's more fat people than I'm used to seeing."
They don't even necessarily look like patients. Maybe they're just visiting people.
Nah, most of them are probably there for themselves, having stuff done.
Then you walk along and inside and there gets to be more of them.
Now I will say this: there are a lot of old people in and around the hospital. They don't tend to be fat. I get the feeling that fat people don't tend to get really old, if we're talking about the way things tend to go. While yes, there is a higher concentration of fat people, they are not among the also significantly high concentration of old people.
Not that the old people are all super thin - although some are - but very few are super fat.
The fat people are mostly young and middle aged. The youngest ones - children - are often accompanying fat parents. I picture them at the grocery store saying shit to their fat mom like, "We should get the chocolate whipped cream."
They don't just want the regular whipped cream; they want the chocolate.
These are the sort of things I imagine.
