This would make an excellent contest prize

Meanwhile the problem I went to the dentist for yesterday still exists. I told them I was having extreme sensitivity to cold water in a certain area, and they poked around and took xrays and then dug out a filling and refilled it - and I still have the same sensitivity to cold water in the same spot. I guess they were just guessing what the problem was.

Isn't that special?

So what do I do now? I guess I call them up and explain the situation and ask if they are going to want me to pay them to try again.

I kind of think they will (want payment). If so, I would be inclined to give some different dentists a shot. One who would maybe not be guessing at the problem. One who maybe has some kind of diagnostic skills and techniques.

I guess I would end up paying for xrays again but WTF? I go to get something fixed and end up getting all kinds of unnecessary drilling and shit?

Jesus tap-dancing Christ!

I haven't had Fun Dip for a long time but I suspect I would dip it like a homo. That is my style. I am a very patient savorer when it comes to most tasty edibles - I make things last - and I assume Fun Dip would be the same.

An observation about Fun Dip: everyone talks about the powder but not so much about the stick. I find that the dipping stick is an underrated part of the Fun Dip experience. Those sticks are very good.

The other odd thing about my dentist is they have two poodles running around the place. Chauncey and Mya. That is not something I would expect to see at a dental practice.

I don't mind - I like dogs. I invited one up on my lap and it ended up falling asleep on my lap while I was having the work done yesterday.

I would think some people would object though. I assume the dogs are hypo-allergenic but still there are some fussy humans out there.

I would avoid cold water in that spot or just avoid cold water altogether.
