Random thoughts

It will definitely be necessary, in home brewing the coffee, to make multiple pots during the course of the day. It does not take long for the quality to go downhill when sitting on the burner.

I know Timmy's actually has a policy of not keeping brewed coffee for more than 20 minutes before they will dump it and start a new pot. I will not go quite that overboard. But I would say a couple hours max.

We've recently upgraded our coffee drinking.

Went with this Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend very decent and you don't get fist fucked as badly on the price as you do for the pure Jamaican. Whole beans then we grind it and do the French Press.

Bye bye auto drip.

Takes a little more time and effort but it is so well worth it. I like mine with a little sugar, and some creamer, creamer of choice this week is white silk&spice. Very nice.

Speaking of coffee upgrades, I was just out and about and I purchased a proper Tim's coffee (which is the one I am trying to imitate at home).

I really thought I would taste it and think, 'Oh shit, that is so good. I am just kidding myself thinking what I am doing at home compares to that.'

But actually no. The one from the store is very good but my stuff at home is close enough. It's good. Absolutely no need to be spending 6-8 bucks a day on those coffees.
