In a previous life, I worked with a girl who could read lips. She was partially hearing impaired.

Well, there was more wrong with her than just that. She was kind of messed up. Pretty nice body actually but she had weird patchy hair and her face was just wrong. It was a face you took one look at and thought, "Oh, poor girl. She has some type of serious affliction." (Unless you were a prick in which case you would probably just think, "Yikes! Woof!")

I had never thought of it until now, but I am willing to say she is the best body girl I have ever seen that I didn't want to have sex with.

Anyhoo, I was thinking about her and her ability to read lips today. This came up because I had a song stuck in my head at work this morning - so I was singing away. My workbench is right in front of a window into a little shipping office and if someone in there had been able to read lips like that afflicted girl could have, this is what they would have seen coming from my mouth:

$15+/hr to pump gas, 20 yr old roughnecks making $100k/yr working on the rigs - all driving shiny new $50,000 pickup trucks (they buy diesels so they can fill up for free at the rig)

Ain't no recession up here boys, not even close.
