I am particular about my jam. Preserves and what not.

Those who buy jelly confuse me.

Don't own peanut butter, but the idea of a peanut butter/jelly pre-mixture in a jar always sickened me.

They are saying "many" emotions but that is not a particularly wide range of emotions. There is a very narrow, unbalanced feel to that listing of emotions.

I wonder, is there not a single person at the National Fitness Hall of Fame who looks at Arnold's behavior and feels indifference or shruggery or indeed, what-does-this-have-to-do-with-the-price-of-tea-in-Saskatchewan-ism?

Those things just never work out even though they sound good! Can't remember what we have tried along the same lines but the same result occurred.

Not the same as your float thing but big fan of PB and Jelly sandwich but never tried this! Anyone have a review on it? No difference? We refrig the jelly but not the PB!

I dunno - maybe it's a Canadian thing. Vachon Cakes have been around here forever. I used to get them in my sack lunches in high school.

There are a bunch of different kinds but I mainly go for the Jos Louis and the Ah Caramel.

Jos. Louis is basically a round chocolate cake coated with chocolate and some vanilla cream inside.

Vachon is a Quebecois company. Joe Louis pastries are very very famous here. You'll find them in every construction worker's lunch box.

Just looking at that picture of all that chocolate makes me think of the 11 year-old me. Man that kid loved sweets. That would have been some kind of dream for him to have that kind of spread.

I'm living the dream.

Another thing that 11 year-old me would have dreamed of was having enough quarters to play pinball all day long. I could do that no problem. I'd have to do a bit of investigating to figure out where they have pinball machines but once I found them, I could go play for ages.

I want to go on Jeopardy and win several games and compete in the Tournament of Champions, then I want to complete my little hobby music project and have it magically, inexplicably catch fire and turn into some huge viral thing that is so successful I never have to worry about money again. Then I will find a nice peaceful place to live, and spend my days doing whatever I want to do (writing, having sex, watching movies, volunteer stuff, floating face down on an air mattress peering into the water with goggles etc.)

And I'll live forever like that.

Really hope you get the call from Jeopardy - I already set the DVR to record every show.

Sometimes I watch an episode and then I play it again when the roommate-turned-GF gets home later in the evening, just so I look smart.

(I did that once, but I started cracking up mid-way and had to admit my crime. )

Muddy, what's up with your tooth situation?

The major crisis of last weekend has passed. I am just going on with life. It's crazy because it was so extremely painful - but it is alright now. I don't know if it will flare up again or what.

One thing I did was get a tooth guard which is supposed to reduce the effects of bruxism (tooth grinding).

I have been using that for a week or so. No way of telling if it is doing anything or not. I have no pain but then I normally don't.

It's not pretty to look at but here it is.
