While out at the grocery store just now, I bought some "Root Beer Float" flavored ice cream. It wasn't the purpose of my trip but sometimes certain items will just call to you from the shelf. An impulse purchase, they call it.

But now I'm wondering why I didn't just buy some root beer and some vanilla ice cream. I feel like that almost has to be better. Just have a real float versus imitation flavors.

Well who knows? They can do some marvellous things with ice cream these days. Maybe it will be good.

I will try it later on and report back.

Also, I noticed the Blockbuster where I did my DVD renting for about a decade up until 6 months ago is having a store closing sale.

No big surprise. It was good to have that back-up plan there though.

Those things just never work out even though they sound good! Can't remember what we have tried along the same lines but the same result occurred.

Not the same as your float thing but big fan of PB and Jelly sandwich but never tried this! Anyone have a review on it? No difference? We refrig the jelly but not the PB!

Mr Monkey my old roommate used to eat that goober shit all the time, like I would say 2 jars a week. He also smoked a lot of weed so that might have been a factor, but he seemed to enjoy goober.

After my recent experience, I would just stay away from that sort of combo product. Buy peanut butter, buy jelly - dispense them in proportions that fit your mood of the moment.

I imagine that product is better than root beer float ice cream though. Like at least it is (I assume) actual peanut butter and actual jelly. The big problem with the root beer float ice cream was that the root beer part wasn't like actual root beer. It was a totally different substance.



But I guess for the people out there who are in the mood for some PB & J but consider it too much work, this Smuckers product would be just the thing. The cartoon grape and peanut look very happy together. That's got to count for something.
