The locals already seem confused by the fact I rock a backwards flyers cap and an unwashed kol shirt with unwashed hair at one portion of the day then a a very decent polo and pristine hair at another portion of the day with bluetooth in looking ready for whatever meeting. Sometimes I'll do them back to back just to soak in the double takes.

Bacon, give them a "nanu "nanu" whenever you meet up with the locals! They will get where you coming from, I think! :dunno:

I try to keep them friendly! I'm different is all but I respect their way of life!

Rogie most of the day, but let's say I'm heading out for a cup of coffee and the Dan Patrick Show is on, I'll use it for that or whatever. At no point in time have I seen anyone else around wearing one, lol.

OK, the nanu nanu might not work! Here's some more crap the monkey will throw against the wall! If they give you weird stares, in a friendly manner tell them, you've heard of people with a bipolar disorder, well mine extends beyond the mental state and into my outward appearance also! I bought a capo and a harmonica holder for under $25 combined today! No offense on music store guys they were cool, but 300% is a heck of a markup, though they were superior products!

Today I was watching The West Wing, and heard the phrase "You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube." I am not sure I had heard that before yesterday in Mudcat's post. I suspect I will begin hearing it everywhere now.
 
I heard it twice in the last week or so before I said it. Not sure I had heard it before that.

The phrase I am more familiar with for that sentiment - which I find superior - is you can't unring that bell. Although maybe that is more for specifically audio situations?

Something about floodgates maybe? Closing a barn door? I don't know - there has got to be something better.

I could definitely put toothpaste back in a tube.
