Not any weirder than playing chords the right way. Some chord shapes are weirdly acrobatic even played the right way.

I once played a Christmas medley thing at a work function on a right-handed guitar. Just need to visualize the backward chords then practice the songs a coupla times to make sure you're comfortable with chord changes.
