Random thoughts

My coffee consumption ebbs and flows. Currently in a major flow phase. This coffee sitting beside me here would be my 5th large today (inexact estimate due to variance of container sizes.)

May well have another later. Very probable.

Loving my coffee these days.

So cold last evening that during my walk home, my phone displayed the error message below. (I don't think that the fine folks in Cupertino thought it possible for people to exceed the lower temperature limit, hence the wonky wording.)

Obama makes an announcement with news that is actually good for Bacon's industry.

A 25 year amortization isn't that much worse than a 30 though. I do like that if you do it before the 5 years you get to keep your current terms instead of being subject to new rates.

Very interesting tidbit in that if you foreclose they don't just take the house - they can take everything.

Very interesting differences but yeah that refi within 5 year requirement - :canada:

Average price of a house in the greater Toronto is $587k. Both people sitting next to me were only able to buy because of the 30yr deal, and they're both house-poor and reliant on their parents' money for any kind of surprise expense.

Matty's parents are poor.

Matty is not buying a house in Toronto unless he hits a 12-team parlay.
