There is a rather large wasp trekking around on the screen on the window beside me. Walking around in zig zaggy patterns all over it like an idiot. Don't know what he is hoping to accomplish.

There is a tear in the screen and there is a chance that, at some point, based on his clip and the randomness of his pattern, he will come upon that tear. The question then will be - does he go inside.

If he does, he could be fucked. Once inside, it is not easy to get back out again. I have seen it before. Critter zig zagging all over the inside of the screen, in the small space between the screen and glass, eventually growing weak.

Obviously the odds of getting out are about the same as getting in. Based on the size of the tear versus the overall area of the screen, the chances of a blind insect moving randomly, finding the tear is 1% Therefore the chances of finding its way in and then out is 0.01%

Maybe this should be in the wildlife thread. Since we don't have a math thread.

Garlic Scapes... They are the flower part of the garlic plant. If you cut off the scape, it forces the plant's energy into making a big yummy garlic bulb out of the single clove.

I planted over 600 garlic cloves last September and the scapes are the first part of the harvest. You can put the scapes in a food processor with olive oil and freeze it in ice cube trays.

Yeah I guess I am approximating some Buffalo accents I hear on TV sometimes.

Like oh my gad, they're smoking pat!

I wish I could smoke pat sometimes, sure.

Well, when I get caught up in a romanticized memory, I can make it seem good. The truth is, when I smoked pat I was pretty useless. Projecting to present day, I might imagine that I could come up with all these great song ideas or whatever, but the truth is, if I was smoking pat RIGHT NOW, I would probably just sit here and play Bejeweled Blitz for hours on end.
