"Really soon" is proper pending how you are using it. It's one of the words that can be used as either "really sooner", "sooner", "soon", or "soonest"...just depends on how you are using the word.

So, I noticed, from cooking, I have all my burns on my left hand/arm, and all my cuts on my right hand/arm. Figures.

Also, the are mowing this morning, and it's soooo loud.

That is all.

Muddy is "really soon" proper English?

It's one of those things. If you look at the actual meaning of the words, it's not technically wrong but it's kinda gobbledy-gook - but an accepted meaning has come into common usage. Humans in this time and place have informally agreed that it means very soon.

So much commonly used stuff is not "proper English." Even in very important situations - like court proceedings - people use incorrect English that has life or death implications and they don't have a clue.

It's fokked. Just gotta roll with it.

Cashier at the grocery store called me dear today. Twice.

Young male cashier.

That was weird. Should I mention that I assume he's gay? I have always thought that. Just has that voice where you can't help but think it.

I don't care if he's gay but I don't like being called dear. I don't care if you're an 80 year old hag or a 21 year old twink. I don't like being called dear by strangers. No big hairy deal - just kinda rubs me the wrong way.

Not that I would ever say anything about that. Pretty minor. I pick my battles more selectively than that.

I'll bet someone will say something if he keeps it up though.
