Man o man o man. Backing up files just saved my ass. I thought I had lost something major. No idea what happened but it was a lot of detailed work - gone - and I was like FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! It would have taken me at least a week to redo it. Probably more. No telling if it would have been equal quality. I guess so if I really hammered away at it but FUCK! Maybe 2 weeks.

Suddenly I remembered my little rotating memory sticks, "Oh yeah. That's why I do that."

All fixed in a matter of minutes.

There was a fair bit of elapsed time between discovering there was a problem and realizing there was no problem. It is surprising how out-to-lunch I can be.

Every Saturday morning I get a pop-up message which says flash drive switcheroo. And I reload all my files on the stick in the drawer then rotate it with the one in the car. It has been a routine procedure for many years.

But then suddenly a bunch of shit was missing from a song ---> I had no clue. Complete disaster.

Well, it took like 5 minutes anyway before . . . ooooooohhhhh,

Well ladies and gentleman Black Taxi officially didn't get enough from insurance for a new tour van (as a reminder the prior one was jacked by professional thieves) and touring is suspended until further notice. They really do kick ass, are good dudes and this sucks.

They are taking donations if it interests anyone http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/rip-tony-vanza with all kinds of incentives. I wish we had the funds for them to come play a show for us that would be absolutely off the chain; what we do will be humble but it's the least we can do, thought I'd share.

How the fok a troll like Manaj makes the bank she does and these guys can't continue to tour is an embarrassment to the music industry.
 
2 things that i find absolutely amazing... the feel of a new toothbrush and the feel of clean sheets on the bed...got em both last night and slept like a fuckin rock...feel gwood today

also, picked up my tix to go see Wicked with the little viet... anyone seen this before?

Agreed on the second. Love clean sheets...Lori does those on Friday and love slipping into them Friday nights...good start to weekends.



On another note...I'm chucking Beanie Babies like there is no tomorrow. If I stop to think that they could possibly be worth something I'm in trouble...chuck on.
