Drawing a gigantic conclusion from that one tiny little situation with the runners - and conveniently ignoring Matty's video there which doesn't fit the conclusion I am trying to reach at all - it seems like they have crowded out all the proper special guise and replaced them with actual competitive athletes.

I am outraged.

Before hearing about that I watched the paralympics a grand total of zero - but now I am going to formally boycott in protest.

The Toronto Maple Leafs released a list of the top 100 players in franchise history.

Okay.

Now I don't want to say it was a mistake; after all it's just a silly list and there is nothing binding about it. It gets people talking, so fine - not a mistake.

But for me, all I can say is, if it was their goal to highlight the mind-boggling lack of star power in the team's long history ---> mission accomplished.

Mogilny? don't remember him playing for Toronto. Should've had Borshevsky

I think this is a list of the 100 greatest NHL players who happened to play for the Leafs at one point or another.

Kinda sorta. Hard to say what they are up to. There is obviously some factoring of term with the team considering that Mike Palmateer and Felix Potvin are ahead of Ed Belfour.

Look, I'm just relieved that Dave Ellett is on there. If there was no Dave Ellett I was going to FREAK!

List makes sense to me even though most of these players I never heard of! The Leafs last won a Cup in the 60's! Rest of them were in the heydays of most of the guys on this list I surmise! Long before we were born! Young Leaf fans need to learn their team's history!

Like this guy .....

Wally Stanowski, last link to Leafs 1940s Stanley Cup wins, dies at 96

Wally Stanowski was the oldest surviving Toronto Maple Leaf. An elegant, puck-moving defenseman, he rarely bragged, but loved to tell stories

Died last year! Rip big guy!
