Yeah but at what point does the amount of time and energy required to unravel all of his scams and attempt to prevent new ones from occurring start to surpass any punishment he may receive? I'd be more worried that he finds a way to sucker in someone else and the more people he actually scams, I would think that the chances of everyone recovering their money diminishes somewhat.

Then again, I have no clue about any of this stuff so I could be merely hypothesizing out of my ass.

Correct. The point is to make it impossible to scam others -- as you can see, a simple search for his name will make anyone think very long before purchasing a site from him.
