Looks delicious Cougar. My father intended to give me a crock pot for christmas but it never materialized (he gave me a target GC w/ express reservation of a crock pot... i spent it elsewhere) but I really should get one. Do you ever leave it cooking all day while you are away at work?

As for the DFH beers. I would hook it up and ship them but i'm not fully apprised of the legality of this venture.

Looking forward to more.
 
Boner ship me some dog fish head Punkin Ale I will make it worth your while. Yes, you can leave it on all day while at work. I have only done it once but that's kinda the idea. It does the cooking and you don't have to watch it so much.

Cali you should of course try my recipe first! Unless you are not into pulled pork. I made a buffalo chicken dip the other day. I got some good feedback from a family gathering I brought it to, but I thought it was just okay. I will also be doing a chili once it gets cooler out.
 
Chicken Salad (w/grapes and walnuts)

  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
  • 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 1 small bunch of red grapes, chopped
  • 1 handful of walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cube chicken and put it in a bowl.
  2. Clean two celery stalks and cut into very thin vertical strips, chop and put it in the bowl with the chicken.
  3. Add minced onion to the bowl.
  4. Cut grapes into quarters and add to the bowl.
  5. Add walnuts to the bowl.
  6. Add one cup of Hellmann's to the bowl.
  7. Squeeze the half lemon into the bowl.
  8. Mix everything together and add salt/pepper.

You can put it on bread, in a wrap or on a bed of lettuce.
