I try all kinds of films including foreign. I would watch more if they were better.

O my frickin gawd they gave the Palme D'Or - which is the most presitigious prize - to The Tree Of Life a few years back. :tully: Looks like they enjoy their zit-squeezy stuff.

They actually gave it to Fahrenheit 9/11 that year. :dunno:

Whole lotta shit I haven't heard of.

Barton Fink won it. I love the Coens but Barton Fink? :clueless:

Pulp Fiction

The Piano

The Hateful Eight  Doesn't deserve a Monkey rating!

Actors I like in it but should be a book and not a movie! WTF, 3 hours of that!

You want to experience that plot in less time and more enjoyable! Play this game!

GoT spoiler alert.

It got even less focused and thinner. Would not have guessed it was possible.

It wasn't enough that Mother of Dragons was indefinitely entrenched in Mereen which has nothing to do with anything - now she is split between that and the Dothraki. She has taken leadership of the Dothraki while her Mereen envoys engage in completely unsatisfying diplomacy in her absence.

:fok:

Can we quit gabbing and start heading towards the iron fucking throne please?

This is AMC by the way, not HBO. Error on my part. These are the 2 new AMC properties upcoming.

I see two HBO series being hyped these days, starting in the next few weeks.

Feed The Beast starring David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess. Seems to be about a couple guys who open a restaurant - one's a chef the other's the business guy? - but they get in trouble with financing i.e. loan shark? That's the vibe I get.

I am not inclined to watch.

Preacher - the advertising is much more mysterious. No indication of much of anything from the commercials. No clips, no nothing. All mood and atmosphere. A quick check of imdb reveals that there is nothing in the way of star power.

:dunno:

On the other side from greedhead Phil Mickelson in the how much money do you need? question.

Daniel Craig 'rejects 68m Bond offer'

That's about 130 million Canadian. For two more films.

Last year, Daniel - who has starred as 007 in 'Casino Royale', 'Quantum of Solace', 'Skyfall' and 2015's 'Spectre' - said he would "rather slash [his] wrists" than portray the spy again.
