Note to the people at Game of Thrones: 198 plotlines is too many. Pick oh, say, 5 and follow them.
Like Sam and Gillie and their kid out on the ocean ---> when you are showing something for 3 minutes every 3 episodes - and it has nothing to do with anything - you can probably just let that go altogether.
IMO Game of Thrones is mostly unwatchable unless you're watching with someone who's read the books. I still have to ask questions to the wife every week. I know the show is ahead of the books now, but having the backstory fresh in your mind is kind of key to enjoying all the plot twists. Otherwise it quickly becomes a bunch of busy nonsense.
I can follow it, I just don't find it particularly good. The good stuff could be very good but there is too much filler. The current Arya thing feels like nothing but busy-work. I'm really supposed to care about the Sons of the Harpy in Mereen?
If you can go a whole season without Bran, you can go forever.
They could make a pretty good show if they would just focus on the throne and the efforts to win it. FOCUS.
The psychological stuff in Halt and Catch Fire is cringeworthy. Season 1 finale was a big letdown IMO. I don't give a fuck about your scars and your mommy. Cut it out.
It was good. I laughed so fuking hard at this scene. The disturbed "what the fuck" then the fall drove the perfectly delivered joke right home. Lol at returning the bourbon shot.
