The episode had some good stuff but there was one thing I found weird, not in a good way. Seems like Danny went through a jarring personality change overnight. All along she's been the reasoning, even-handed, problem-solving, consensus-building, queen-of-the-people - then suddenly she meets John Snow and BOOM! ---> total megalomaniac bitch.



I don't know if they are wanting to show the first signs of getting whatever madness her father had. But that was too abrupt. Bad writing.

I've been watching a few episodes of the old 80s series Unsolved Mysteries, pretty cool watching with a vantage of 30 years, if you look them up online many have been solved

Good episode of GoT. Gimme a break with pretending Jamie Lannister might have drowned at the end though. Why even fart around with that shit? No one is buying that shit.

I have an additional prediction. I need to start tracking this.

I have already gone on record as saying:

Dany will "win"
Theon will redeem himself and kill Euron and save Yara (probably dying in the process)

And here's a new one:

Dragons will die but the very last episode will show dragon's eggs that are left behind

The writing has gone to shit. It's way too straightforward now. Even I can keep up with the dialogue and plot, and I'm dumb.

They did a lot of really conspicuous dwelling on Tyrion and his angst during the battle scenes with Jaime. That was some bash-you-over-the-head-with-it dwelling.

Makes me wonder about things relating to that.

Jamie had saved him on more than one occasion. I think Tyrion is aware that Cersei is a cancer on Jamie's messed up morals. Jamie has had some redeeming moments and then ruins it whenever Cersei becomes heavily involved.

Makes me wonder if there is a betrayal of Dany in his future. I could see that. Tyrion's loyalties to his family call him back.

The whole thing has a professional wrestling vibe where Dany keeps taking major blows - but then she gets up off the canvas. There could be a big Tyrion betrayal that leaves her flat on her back for a two-count - but then she magically springs back up - and wins.

The important point being ---> Mudcat's prediction would be correct.

I watched the series premier of the AMC show Loaded. It was okay and I'll try another episode but the current line on me lasting 6 episodes: +300

Grade that a winner for the won't-last-6-episodes bettors.

I wouldn't call it bad but I just don't care enough. I liked the Gustavo character and that was about it.

I watched Bad Santa 2. It was not as bad as I was expecting but somewhat bad. I felt embarrassed for Kathy Bates and Christina Hendricks. I actually thought Billy-Bob kept the thing reigned in from becoming a complete scattergun lame-fest of obvious jokes and misfired shock humor.

But still ---> no.

It makes me wonder about the original Bad Santa and if I have been over-rating it all this time, but whatever. One thing at a time.
