I can't agree with the use of the word obviously there. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but based on the buzz in my part of the world, this season has been by far the best. It's been a while since there was such a must-see show that is an automatic part of the Monday morning water-cooler chat.

Looking forward to next season. Prolly gotta wait a year and a half or some damn thing though.

First off I agree with both Muddy and CGNY/Matty about this season! Writing has been IMO kinda corny but I have enjoyed this season's action sequences! Maybe dialogue better previously but IMO less dragging with it this season cause of some dramatic moments along with more questions being answered!

No, six final episodes coming in 2019.

WTF! Did you mistype 2019 for 2018?

I watched the series premier of Legion. It was okay. Matthew Crawley from Downton Abbey is in a mental hospital with Aubrey Plaza and another chick whose character's name is Syd Barrett. Which strikes a chord.

There is stuff going on about mental powers. Some freaky stuff goes on. A few interesting effects along the way.

It's pretty clear they are going to hammer at the theme of is it really happening or just in his head?

There was a time this would have appealed to me but I don't think now is that time.

I watched the first episode over the summer. I keep thinking that I'll go back to it, but it didn't really catch my attention enough. I'm a quitter.

Season 1 of the rebooted Twin Peaks was 18 episodes. You don't see that much any more.

I watched the whole damn thing though. If there is a season 2, I'll probably watch that too. It's kind of stupid but kind of hypnotic with a few moments of genuine inspiration.

I never saw the original Twin Peaks. Maybe I should watch that.

I don't know.

I watched S1 and the ridiculously long S2 of the original Twin Peaks before watching Twin Peaks The Return

I can't imagine watching the new Twin Peaks without watching the old one first. Too much backstory.

With that said, S2 of the original was WAY too long. They could have easily edited it to 9 episodes but they liked that extra commercials revenue I suppose.
