Halt etc. feels like a missed opportunity to me. I am watching into season 3 - and that doesn't happen with many shows - so it has some positives - but I just feel like they have captured a thought-provoking situation full of wonder and imagination - but they haven't fully run with it.
Rather than being something I watch because, wow, so that's what it might have been like to be a total wiz in the exceptionally important and relevant computer industry when it was madly taking off in every direction - it's a show with a bit of that and occasional thoughtful plot/character moments - but mostly - due largely to conspicuously forced interactions and contrivances - it's like, okay, all my other shows are between seasons - or over - and I want something to watch with dinner. So that.
Also, I like to say Scoot McNairy.
