Has anybody watched Tin Men? I just re-watched it for the 1st time since it came out. I remembered liking it. Holds up pretty well :up:

Gotta say, they have done a good job of pre-hyping the Suicide Squad movie. They have been releasing strategic little tidbits going back many months. A pic here, a clip there. Not necessarily interesting to me personally - it just looks like the typical beaten-to-death stuff to me - but I can see how it has carved out a thing with a chunk of the public and got people hungering for it.

I predict it will do very well as far as $$$$

Had to look up Vice Principals. I see it is an HBO half-hour sitcom that is already signed up for 2 seasons.

Danny McBride is the star. I don't know about that. I surprised myself by lasting a couple seasons with Eastbound and Down. I've seen him here and there besides. It seems like he is going to try to make a career of telling one joke over and over but again, as I say, I lasted awhile with Eastbound so I am not a hater.

Walton Goggins I don't mind.

Guess I'll check out episode 1 anyway and see if it takes me anywhere.

On an aside:

Clint Eastwood's companion films of 2006, Flags of our Fathers and Letter From Iwo Jima, are an incredible combined work of artistic inspiration.

Letters for me is the true gem which I rate 9/10 - but damn that was an amazing undertaking with jaw-dropping results.
