Every once in awhile a movie comes along that I have to stop watching for reasons other than the basic quality of it.

The Raven was such a movie. I was about 45 minutes into it with every intention of watching the whole thing.

But then ---> NOPE!! I'm out.

There are just a few things that make me too uncomfortable. Buried alive scenes are in that category. Like I could handle if it was a quick reference or whatever - but when they actually get into the casket with the person - and if it is going to be a lingering situation ----> pass.

Those things stick with me for a long time. The Vanishing was such a movie. Guarding Tess. Kill Bill. Body Double. I have no sense of humor about that shit.

I don't actually know how The Raven was going to go with it. Maybe it was going to be nothing and my imagination just went prematurely off to the races. Dunno.



But anyway yeah, no. No rating.
 
after watching sea1. and part of sea2. of walking dead, i quit...same shit, slightly different scenarios... much bigger bandwagon than bb.. i have no clue how its gotten more popular, but it has... its not even one of those that i would go back and watch one day

i just remembered that Dexter left itself open for something else to happen.. i guess it never will, but i think i would watch

dafty, you still watching the Americans? i missed a few eps. but remember it comes on tonight... ill have to go back and catch up.. good show

I know they went a long time without revealing certain beliefs that you learn and must accept... members had to sign a contract not to talk about what they learn when reaching a certain high level... if you were told in the beginning that After you spent thousands upon thousands going up the "bridge" or up levels, that you would finally get to the story of Xenu and thetans, they would have never had a mentally stable member join the church... go and google "xenu" and "thetans" ... its truly amazing what people will believe

I am making an adjustment to how I do my ratings. No more ratings between 4.5 and 4.99. The highest possible rating for a thumbs down is 4.49.

I don't like having a thumbs down that rounds off to a 5 out of 10. I want my downward thumbs to be clear.

I actually heard quite a few good things about this one from people I had some trust in.

Nope - found it pretty stupid.
