starting watching BOSS on Netflix with Kelsey Grammer

I think it is above average but i'm kind of biased because I like to watch for chicago stuff I know

this show was filmed in a studio 300 yards from my apartment, many of the scenes are right around my house. Last night we saw a 1 sec little clip of our garbage can in our alley.

So I finally saw Rudy. Good stuff. Inspirational.

I went to wiki afterwards to find out whatever happened to the guy, and I see this:

SEC indictment
In 2011, Ruettiger was charged with securities fraud by the SEC, for participating in a pump-and-dump scheme. Settlement of the case required Ruettiger to pay $382,866 in fines, though he was not required to admit guilt.

Not sure how I feel about that.

Rudy is a strange movie for me. I find the title character thoroughly annoying throughout the whole movie.

Then, I literally tear up during the redemptive scene. I don't even like the guy, but it's just so fucking redemptive. This has happened all three times I've seen it.

Why I've watched Rudy three times, I have no idea.

Coincidentally, I got some dust in my eye during the final scene. I blamed it on the dog.

Pet dander. :wah:
