Sharknado. I dunno. I watched the first half hour or so. Feeling minimal motivation to get back to it.

Not sure why. It's obviously not good good. As far as so-bad-it's-good value - which is the vibe I get that most people see in it - I was expecting more. A friend of mine complained that so-bad-it's-good only works when they aren't obviously doing it on purpose - which he feels Sharknado is doing. I get his point and I think I agree with it in general - but I didn't get a strong feeling for what Sharknado is doing.

It's just kinda laying there for me.

I may not be a Sharknado guy.

I guess people here know me well enough to know I wasn't sloshed watching it.

Big picture, I have never been a big so-bad-it's-good fan. Someone like Bread, it's as big a category as just liking good good movies. Me, something has to be really special-bad to grab me on that level.

Very, very seldom comes along.

I generally agree with Muddy's friend on the self-aware so-bad-it's-good movie problem. Generally, self-awareness ruins it.

I make an exception for Megashark vs Giant Octopus, which I find extremely enjoyable, and which always provides an excuse to post this:
