How I Met Your Mother is wrapping up. Never a staple of ours but very doable when nothing else to do, always good for a chuckle or two. Great acting and writing there and they've been at it a long time. Will miss having them to fall back on, there's the old ones though.

Pretty strong episode of Girls. Maybe cause I had couple of beverages.
Started out weak imo cause the art school thing came out of nowhere and seemed contrived. Many interesting issues brought up  and I have confidence they will be addressed/resolved. Kind of in love with Jessa now

I still can't believe foking Lena is a genius. But there's no way around it.

Haven't watched it yet, pumped for it now.

Little bit jealous that this is all coming out of a 26yo's head.

Boys we really do figure shit out later than girls.

Wes Anderson always feels like a wannabe Coen Brother to me. Tries hard but not quite there. Never as good as his ardent fans insist he is.

Matter of taste of course.

As for Grand Budapest Hotel, I have seen a couple rave reviews from regular critics. Mind you, I could say the same about Moonrise Kingdom which was, you know, cute and everything ---> but come on.

I'm sure I'll see GBH at some point but it does not feel like a priority.

Season 4 of Justified was a'ight. It's not an all-timer of a show but it has a quality to it.

Sons of Anarchy. My buddy gave me the DVD's through season 5, but I'm in the middle of season 2 right now and that might be it for me. We'll watch to the end of S2 and make a decision. Leaning towards calling it a day.

Kids grow up 10 times quicker than normal people in this city.

I'm amazed at some of the conversations I hear young children discussing.

Can't imagine constantly being around bums and street life at that age.

Don't worry bacon he made fun of me when I would watch Prison Break too.

I will still agree I'm not a fan of SOA. Too soap opera-ish.

That's my main bitch about it and it is a big one. Enough decent dialogue and scenery/suspense to still save it for us probably in large part because we don't have shit else to do

I still recommend the early seasons for all though, much less soap imo.

We might have to try prison break, that was big to a lot of people and we do like our violence.

re-started LilyHammer with Steven Van Zandt last night on netflix

only got 1.5 episodes in before forgetting about it awhile back.

with 2 seasons available now, I gave it a re-start. 3 episodes last night and i'm feeling good about it

I can't do it. Van Zandt is just so bad in that. The Norwegian cast is great though.
