I didn't know they were still making Californication. I lasted for a few seasons with it but let it go at some point. Seems like a long time ago.

Are they still making True Blood, I wonder?

Mind you, if we are going to talk about the worst Best Picture winner, I feel like Hamlet has to be mentioned. Not that there is anything unusually bad about the movie-making. The photography and art direction and everything are fine. It has moments of terrible acting as one would expect of the time, but it's probably above average overall in that regard.

But it is just such a monumentally idiotic story.

Dude did anyone watch the new House of Lies. Not going into elaborate details because not one wanting to be a spoiler but we open the episode up with complete carnage and a random two second closeup of a woman slowly biting into a fucking Snickers. When we realized what it was we laughed so fucking hard. Watch for it.

I saw True Blood is back in summer.

I recall loving the first season. Then abruptly hating the 2nd.

I rarely watch any of these shows. I do find it interesting that the cable channels have all of the hot series now. For the last 15 years, it seems like all the major networks can come up is rigged reality tv and lame comedies. What was the last good series on network tv?

I watch a few network series. Simpsons and Family Guy. Cosmos and 60 Minutes - although I guess we're getting into a different category with those two.

As far as hour-long drama, House might be the last network show I watched??? It was not all-time great but I don't feel embarrassed that I watched it.

Pretty strong episode of Girls. Maybe cause I had couple of beverages.
Started out weak imo cause the art school thing came out of nowhere and seemed contrived. Many interesting issues brought up and I have confidence they will be addressed/resolved. Kind of in love with Jessa now

I still can't believe foking Lena is a genius. But there's no way around it.

Saw the new Wes Anderson, Grand Budapest Hotel.

As with every Wes Anderson, it was nice to look at and had certainly had style, but it was the least engaging one I've seen. I might have fallen asleep for a little bit.
