Dead people see me - and are frightened

Muddy Matty and I got very heated about who gets your jellybeans today.

I understand if it doesn't go my way he's a pretty impressive dude but you should consider one very important fact -I AM FUCKING AWESOME.

Holy tired as fok I had to edit this twice

I don't know what to say. You are both welcome to the jellybeans. You can split them. Or one of you can have them and I would gladly buy another 311 for the other.

I sort of feel like I am being treated like I am offering resistance about the jelly beans but I don't feel that I am.

Mind you, push comes to shove, I don't see myself going to any significant expense to ship the jelly beans somewhere. I am happy to place them in a nice bowl on my kitchen counter and say, "Help yourself!", however I don't feel inclined to spend 35 dollars and prepare customs documents to export the jellybeans. There is a line that gets crossed somewhere in there.

So maybe I am not quite as easy going about the jelly beans as I was letting on.

I can't decide how I feel about The Cell.

I mean it is clear that Jennifer Lopez is painfully bad in it, and Vince Vaughan is not particularly good either. They are the leads so that is going to drag things down. But it is a movie which is about the story and the artistic vision. The foundational plot is appealingly dark and plausible. Silence-of-the-Lambs-ish, you could say. Now there is an element in the premise which requires some significant suspension of disbelief. It takes away a slight bit, but I am willing to go with it for the most part.

The artistic vision is about as good as it gets in the movies.

You get these inspired dream sequences and it's like, Whoa - but suddenly Jennifer Lopez shows up, clodhopping self-consciously through it. Ugh.

Don't know how to reconcile it all.

We're the Millers is highly recommended. Jason Sudeikis is hysterical the whole way through as a veteran pot deal who creates a fake family to do some drug smuggling. Awkward moment after of awkward for two straight hours. Loses one point for a couple of cheesy singalongs. Very good flick, if a good comedy is your thing check it out. 7.75 shakeandbakes.

Mid-Season summary

Eastbound and down is the funniest show on TV. Definitely right at the top

Boardwalk Empire is the best drama. ... im finding no less than a half dozen shows to be more entertaining than this season... its not up to par with other seasons so far, imo

Homeland isn't very good. ... way too much saul and carrie and not enough brody...season is dragging ass for sure

british tv much better than american for me right now... :dunno: ... also, the bridge season 2 is very good (danish version)
