I remember a few years back it seemed like Liv Tyler was being set up as a top actress. She started to appear in a lot of stuff, sometimes as the female lead. There seemed to be a distinct upward trajectory.

I did not like it one bit. I felt it was wrong. I always found her about as interesting as a bowl of cold oatmeal.

Seeing her in a small role in something yesterday reminded me how she has dropped off the map and it made me feel grateful and also smug. I know what I am talking about. Peeps need to listen to me.

Liv Tyler. Pfft.

Hot I don't see. I see a stunned, possibly lobotomized expression resting atop a wide, boxy frame.

(I'm going to recommend at this point that we chalk it up to differences in taste and not go back and forth where you find her best glamour shots and I find her worst looking candid shots)

Speaking of sports-themed movies, there is one that has been around since 2000 which I have heard some people say good things about it and I finally got around to watching yesterday.

The Replacements.

Wotta dumb fucking movie.

Yup. I did the same thing not long ago.

Terrible. Put every cliche in a sports movie and you have The Replacements.

Don't see Liv T being hot either!

Expect her to look kinda like this when she's in her 50s!

Burn Notice is a pretty dopey formulaic show. It is nowhere near the category of The Sopranos or The Wire.

It is a diversion. Kinda like the show Grimm, I probably wouldn't watch it on my own but it is a shared experience with a friend, something to gab about.

Burn Notice is better than Grimm though.

Muddy, I felt like Burn Notice was dopey too! It just didn't feel real to me, especially considering the tone of his voice.
When watching shows such as Burn Notice, 24, Csi, ext. often wonder how much of it is really realistic, one would think that the people of the law wouldn't want their "secrets" or their "methodes" put out there seeing as that could offer a criminal a way to beat them. then again....I'm sure that information lays somewhere on the world wide web as well.
I just really have a hard time believing these shows anymore....They make it appear far to easy.
