A bunch of 'em. The ass splinter, the Q-Tip, Marnie singing at the dude's company party, then Adam roughing up the uptight hottie.

People here were shocked by the cumshot scene. I thought it was gonna get way worse than that when he told her to get on all fours.

It's just cum. Close your eyes, relax and enjoy.

The Marnie singing scene was pretty bad.

I guess they are doing it on purpose. It is a thing these days to be uncomfortable and annoying as a substitute for edgy/funny. Not that it's brand new but it seems (to me anyway) to be increasing in movies and TV. Apparently it works for a lot of people, although its a boat I missed.

Introducing OCD is another thing (more on the annoying side than uncomfortable). I guess they figured they weren't annoying enough and what is more annoying than OCD?

Not much.

 started with Jim Carey I think

On a similar note, I've been hyping this new girl I'm seeing to come over and watch Girls with me from the beginning. Horrible idea. I forgot how std focused those first few episodes are. I had convinces her to let me 'just put the bare tip'in earlier in the day, although she seemed uneasy about. She had a perplexed look on her face while watching show. Pretty obvious what we were both thinking about. Haven't heard from her since.

We were getting along great while watching Walking Dead. The decision to switch series to Girls was a horrific audible made on my part.

:reallymad:

Kind of reminds me of the time I started working on this girl and we were both feeling some early game magic and for our first real date, we went to the movie Knocked Up.

Thought it would be a chance to have some laughs together but it was just all wrong. Footage of baby crowning and whatnot.

All wrong. Game over.

What was funny is we were just deciding to give this show another shot after the main looking like Alf in the pilot and we caught up on the speech and the grunge fok/load blow. :lmao: might try again.

Checked out some Arrested Development, 2 episodes in not too bad, different. No judgment yet.

House of Cards tonight :whynot: Kevin Spacey ftw

Longford (2006) - Now this was interesting. It is a made-for-TV British movie (directed by Tom Hooper) about real events. Lord Longford was a politician and religious dude who got involved in prison visits and prisoner advocacy, and he got involved (not involved, but involved) with a notorious child serial killer.

For myself and probably most Canadians, it is impossible not to draw parallels to Karla Homolka.

Very absorbing presentation about the things the road to hell is paved with. Standout performances by Jim Broadbent, Samantha Morton and Andy Serkis.

I am left with a major question about it however so my query here is: has anyone seen it?

Rating is around 7 out of 10 regardless.

The parallels to Myra Hindley are striking. They both committed their heinous crimes with male partners and were initially believed (by some) to be less responsible due to acting under his control and influence - they both received lighter initial sentences - only to be later considered (by many) to be just as responsible. In both cases there was some taped evidence that surfaced.

Big difference is that Homolka is now wandering free whereas Hindley died in prison.
