I'm super fascinated by my Blue Jays record. I'm now 3-15, -13.49u when betting them. I was on them for 15 of their 23 losses. That seems significant. My WAR data isn't even big on them - I have them winning 83 games this season.

My brother is a big Jays fan. Apparently their manager is well known to be a total moron. Has taken all the joy out of the game for the young players (ended all of their home run celebration shenanigans, etc.) AND does a bunch of stupid in-game stuff. Like the other day, starting a rookie in an OF position he's never played, which wound up resulting in a game-deciding error.

Obviously none of this matters and sample size and variance and all that, but yeah, kind of makes sense that a bad manager can underperform expectations.
