Its not about marketing. Instead of.

idiotic question. There is plenty of poverty.

decent housing, medicine, food, education, available to everybody. It is not just the "bums" that are struggling in this country.
These things should be a priority.
Environment, stopping exploitation of workers here and abroad. Is it really necessary to list?

So why is it that you can't take time out of your day to help these people? There are MANY volunteer possibilities in every community.

You're right, the middle class is hurting also. There is a cost with that. Most people who are poor are born into it, which does suck. They also get free schooling, including college. They also get food stamps, housing and heating allowance. Obviously its not the best, but it is something. Don't know how much more you want to do.

Just check out obamacare if you are single and made over 41K last year, then get back to me. Just remember while you are buying the bronze plan, all of the less fortunate are getting the gold and silver plan on your dime, enjoy.

I don't see deadbeats that suck off the system. I see a system that sucks the life and humanity out of the public and uses them like cattle to enrich the few.

So people that can't seem to figure out how to make a living are cattle that you refuse to help because you're lazy?

God you are one pathetic piece of garbage.

not a proponent of obamacare. Insurance should be out of it. Once again, everyone deserves same medical care and it should be paid for by the community like it is done in civilized countries.

Yeah but the middle class have "things" (aka nice cars, televisions etc) that are supposed to symbolise the advantages that they have over the poor.

Remember, in todays socio-economic climate its your possessions that largely define who you are and how others judge you. Substance of character went out of favour around the same time we were told we need these same "things" in order to feel accepted by our peers...

As a westerner i can see how im systematically manipulated into the shallowness of the hype machine. I dont approve of it but i accept its part of the day to day.

I do agree with you but i trust that the government will fuck it up, so no dice. I want LESS reliance on the government and not more. There are things we can do to fund this, like pull out of Afghanastan - a failed Obama goal he had 8 years to do.

Not everyone gets the same medical care in Canada. First thing the hospitals do here when you get admitted is ask for an imprint of your credit card in case you require anything that's not covered by the public system.

My private insurance got us bumped up to a private room with free meals for 2 days after baby was born, in a secured unit with a security tag around baby's ankle in case some bum wanted to steal him away.

Ballin'.

I'm guessing you're not the one making policy decisions or buying politicians. You're a simple tool that works some job, enjoys beer and football and plays with numerology:dunno:
You are the definition of cattle. You are unable to think critically, instead make knee jerk reactions and strawman arguments.

Not a good example as its widely recognised that the US healthcare system is the global example of how not to do things...

Still, someone has to lead the way and without mistakes there is no progress...

Now, to get those pharmaceutical lobby groups away from political decision making...

A lot of the poor i deal with are dumb with money, living for the moment over saving. Is that the middle class fault? Much of the middle class is so charged up also, they are one job loss from being poor also.
