And I totally agree with you here. But from here to a widespread adoption of communist ideals, there is quite a step.

Again, that leap to the most extreme portrayal of the argument was not made by Reno. One second there's a discussion about the social impact of advertising, and the next second you guys are saying that Reno decides what you get to have and what you don't.

I'm glad you got that. Thought I was living in a surreal world for a second :guitar:

Oh come the fok on you two. It's impossible to take this thread outside of reno's habitus. Every political/sociological post of his posits a hippie-commie bullet point.

None of us are a blank slate here.

I'm an asshole on the Internet. Proceed from there.

you want to marginalize things by putting labels on it.
And whatever I may say comes back to the same story with you.
But if mr.x says it you start to understand I guess. Its kinda gay.

Basically its a double negative for the community. Its a bunch of unnecessary work/jobs that should be eliminated. Instead of creating a need that doesnt exist these people can be working on fulfilling needs that do. Or at the very least sitting at home and staying out of the way of those who are doing something worthwhile.

If we got rid of shit like this and other similar crap I bet we could have a 3 hour work week and preserve the environment.

The clip hits on it very nicely imo

Re start the convo from this post.

I'll start. What other similar crap should we get rid of.

MrX
Yes, tech innovation has done a lot in that direction. Enough that, for me, it's not hard to imagine a world in which tech has advanced to a point that the average person could have something like a 10 hour work week, and a wonderful amount of free time to pursue his passions and better his life.

But, I don't think anything like that happens with the current trends towards financial inequality.

. I'm being accused of being brash and simplistic, yet look at this shit.
....

where do you think Mr.X got his post from genius? Do I haveto translate everything into western tech/retard speak for you to understand?

The sad thing is Matty, that when people like you act like halfwits it gives a green light to halfwits like CB to come in and start slinging shit.
Although this thread did not turn into much of a worthwhile political debate it has given an interesting window into human nature. And for that I'm thankful :hattip:
