Not liking this. A 3-0 lead is better than a lot of things but I am getting a weird vibe.

Too much shit not being maximized.

Orioles got boppers of their own that can pick up 3 runs in about 2 and a half seconds.

Not liking this.

Blue Jays wrapping up their 9 game homestand.

6-2 so far following a 6-2 road trip. Can't reasonably expect much more than that.

BUT ---> Yankees still only a game and a half back.

It has to be said: Yankees are playing some hella respectable ball.

Party leaders pledge to skip Jays games after losses with them in the stands

Toronto Blue Jays fans can breathe a sigh of relief -- the major party leaders have agreed not to attend any more games during the federal election campaign.

The Jays, who are battling the New York Yankees for top spot in the American League East Division, have not fared well when any of the party leaders have attended games.

The Jays lost games when Tom Mulcair, Stephen Harper and Justin Trudeau were in the stands.

After Friday's loss while Trudeau was in attendance, Mulcair tweeted: "Don't worry, fellow .BlueJays fans. @JustinTrudeau, @pmharper and I have a busy September and October lined up."

Trudeau responded Saturday on Twitter saying, "Ok @pmharper and @thomasmulcair, let's make a deal. No more BlueJays games for us during the campaign."

And Harper replied later Saturday, tweeting "@JustinTrudeau @ThomasMulcair I think we can all agree to watch the @BlueJays from the safety of the campaign buses."

Crazy in what way? I have my own thoughts but not sure where you're at.

Looks like it opened at 9.5 - which seems very low to me. Blue Jays righty bats raring to put some dents in the green monster.

Buehrle has been on and off for the last little while. He's going on extra rest - 8 days I believe? - so no telling what that means and how that will play out.

10.5 ---> I will put some air on the over.

Ah. Yes, it would be considered a high number just sitting in a vacuum.

But I would submit that Fenway is a slightly unusual animal - and so is this Blue Jays offense.

My feelings about Fenway are still influenced by past experience. I made my living for many years betting on sports and I overwhelmingly favored UNDERS and UNDERDOGS. HOWEVER, there were certain exceptions - and those stand out clearest in my memory - and Fenway was one. I made a lot of money with strategic OVER wagering at Fenway for many years (and also predicting upward line movement from openers).

I see OVERS are 38-30 there this year fwiw.

But there are always arguments to be made for both sides of any line. If there weren't, we would all be filthy rich.

Anyway, I'm only betting air here so I'll stand by it, for old time sake if nothing else.

OVER 10.5.

I don't think you guys realize how much our bank rolls would grow if Mr.Quincy posted all of his MLB plays here and we took the other side for $250 a pop.

I know, I know.......I'm an a-hole but it's true. I happen to like Mr.Q quite a bit. That's the truth.
