Lotta hullaballoo about the Patrick Kane point streak. People get uppity over second assists that they don't think he really deserved an assist to keep the streak going.

I take it his point in last night's game was in that category.

Here it is, Kane's only point in last night's game, extending the streak.

So from the last time he touched the puck a guy receives his pass, makes a pass to someone else, that guy takes a shot, misses, picks up a rebound, then another pass - back to the same guy who passed it to him before took his shot - and then the goal.

In my world, that would not be an assist for Kane but I think that is pretty standard charity in the game these days, streak or not.
