The Russians are finally figuring it out that the KHL is an inferior league with major money issues. Kovalchuk will be back next year and i read last week tha Radulov wants back for a third stint. Not sure I'd want that cancer on my team.

Here's the big question I am pondering as I consider what is happening in the tryout camp for the upcoming World Cup of Hockey (i.e. the NHL season).

Should Sidney Crosby be on Team Canada?

I'm thinking no at this point. He's not getting 'er done and there are too many great Canadian centers. We'll probably already have a couple natural centers playing the wing. Stamkos and whatnot.

Hopefully he starts playing better and can claim a spot on merit, but it is too important to be giving out charity spots based on sentiment and misty water-colored memories.

Silly question!!! The guy, despite having a rough start, is still the best player in the world. Just imagine him plying with world class talent and not players like Kunitz, Perron etc. I will say that Kessel has surprised me with his lack of production playing with Crosby AND Malkin.

Kane s a good player for sure, but nowhere near as being as good as Crosby. It's really too bad that Kane is such a douchebag off the ice.

That's not saying much. Crosby is a somewhere-in-the-pack player these days. I'm sure Kane is better than Wayne Gretzky today.
