What's WWF?

World Wildlife Fund

http://www.wwf.ca/

For half a century, WWF has worked to protect the future of nature. WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is Canada’s largest international conservation organization with the active support of more than 150,000 Canadians. We connect the power of a strong global network to on-the-ground conservation efforts across Canada, with offices in Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, St. John’s, Iqaluit and Inuvik. Our Mission: To stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by:

Ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable.
Promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.
conserving the world's biological diversity

IAG
Nice Plommer. Do you play World Wildlife Fund?

So far I know of Steve, Cami, Mr X, IAG, FW, Rogue. I am sure there are more but all that is coming to mind right now.

no, I do not. my post was more of a jab at the abbreviations y'all use. the other day casper said he was going to be in LI, which is Long Island, according to him.

When I hear people talking about Cali I alsways assume they mean Cali, Colombia and not Cali fornya

same thing with the CA abbreviataion, to me it means Canada, but I understand it is also used for California.

Yeah. I caught what you did there. And I hear ya. When I see SF I instinctively think Sioux Falls rather than that city in Cali.

Lemme ax you this: how long does a game of WWF take?
If you were sit down and play it in one sitting probably an hour or two? It's hard to say because no one I know plays like that. I have current games going...most of which were started a week ago. It's the kind of thing you can just pick up when you have the time, take your turn and wait on the other person. I am not sure I have ever had a game finish the same day. On average I would say 3 days to a week?

I guess you would have to play thru FB until you get that smartphone. It is a great game for your phone/tablet. In either case, I think you would like it..especially if you like Scrabble.

Matttaaaaaaaay!

I'm settled in at my parents place, power came back on yesterday, in the meantime we stayed at my sisters in Mississauga.

I'm here until Monday the 30th.

Lets set something up.

PS: Toronto area covered in snow, meanwhile there was zero snow on the ground in Windsor when I left, it all melted in the days before the ice storm.

I was waiting for the dog to take a dump! At the 20 second mark I figured it out! I'm kinda disappointed but good vid Blitty!

Yea we got like 8" inches of snow and just done shoveling! Unreal but the gov of NJ declared a state of emergency early last evening cause of that amount plus the temps he said were going to be near zero tonight! We're pussies!
